Following in his grandfather Michael Beint’s footsteps, Tristan started acting at the age of 10 at Sixth Sense Youth Theatre in Swindon.
A LAMDA graduate, Tristan’s theatre credits include: Young Martin in “The Royal Hunt of the Sun”, Cosimo de Medici in “The Life of Galileo” and Kastril in “The Alchemist” (all National Theatre), Dorilant in “The Country Wife” (Theatre Royal Haymarket), Mike Priddle in “Ghost Stories” (Arts Theatre), Mark in “Boiling Frogs” (Southwark Playhouse), Demetrius & Snout in “A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream” and Antipholus of Ephesus in “A Comedy of Errors” (both Sprite Productions).
Television credits include: Viscomte de la Prade in “Musketeers”, Harry Fitzgerald in “Father Brown”, Tom in “Doctor Who, 50th Anniversary special”, David Dessler in “EastEnders”, Edward Brittain in “Vera Brittain, A Woman in Love and War” and Lt. Joshua Wise in “Doctors” (all BBC).
Film credits include: Marvin Maskelyn in “Bad Acid” (Flaxman Films), Nick in “Shadows in the Sun” (Wreck Productions), Frank Whittle in “How We Invented the World” (Discovery Films).
Tristan hopes that “Where the Skin Lies” gains a cult status to match one of his grandfather’s films, the Hammer Horror classic, “Witchfinder General”.
